Jaishreekrshna Community members

As some of you’ll may know, my wife, Anna is from Ukraine. Her family have been personally affected by the war in Ukraine and have been forced to flee from Kiev to Poland. We managed to arrange visas for them to come to the UK to stay for 3 years. They are currently staying with us, however our landlord will not allow them to stay for more than a few months. We are trying to arrange more permanent accommodation for them in London and would like to ask the community for their assistance.

My in laws are two elderly people ( 69 and 58 years old ) and we are going to arrange for them to receive benefits. They are also keen to be active and want to work in some capacity hence they will also receive some income from this. They also brought along their two grandchildren ( 6 and 8 years old ) who will be with them for a few months only.  If anybody has a 1 bed flat to let out or 1 bedroom in their property to rent out, for as long as they are able to accommodate them, we would be grateful if you’ll could let us know.

Please email me at hiteshgarach@yahoo.co.uk

Kind Regards

Hitesh Garach

Coronavirus (COVID -19) Announcement (September 2020)

Dear all,

The last few months have certainly been a challenge for us all and I’m sure like us you are finding new and adapted ways of living and working. As always, we hope that this message finds you, your family and all relatives safe and healthy. With new government guidelines in place and the uncertainty of when we will go back to ‘normal’, it is more important than ever to remain supportive of each other and harness all the connections that our community has to offer.

Here are the latest updated government guidelines and updates for your reference: https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus

Now is the time to be even more vigilant and make sure we protect ourselves and our loved ones. There are many websites to order Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – including https://trustedppe.co.uk/. Make sure you always leave the house with a face mask and hand sanitizer and if you have children over 12 or elders in your home, be sure to keep them protected too.

The BMUK Committee are here to help and support where possible during this difficult time, so please feel free to reach out to us on committee@bmuk.org. If you don’t have internet access please call any member of the Committee.

Let’s hope this pandemic will end soon and in the meantime let’s all help each other during this extended period of lockdown. Please continue to be vigilant and look after yourself and your loved ones.

Take care and be safe,

BMUK Committee
