Forth coming events:

The Committee have had fruitful meetings over last few months and decided to start making some small changes as you will see below.

Bhajan – Sangeet Sandhya and Bhojan:

Each year we host a day of prayers and Bhajans to remember, honour and celebrate lives of members our community and/or relations who are sadly no longer with us.

Date: Saturday 22nd March 2025

Venue: Arya Samaj Hall, 69A Argyle Rd, West Ealing, London W13 0LY

Time: 05.00pm to 06.00pm Havan performed by Shastriji of Arya Samaj

06.00pm to 07.30pm Light meal / snacks

07.30pm to 10.30pm Bhajans /Sangeet by music group.

This event is open to all members, family and friends and we sincerely hope to see as many of you as possible. Please note that there will be a havan performed earlier so if you wish to take part, please be punctual.

 

BMUK General Meeting:

As an interim meeting, there will be just a get together general meeting so we can meet more often and mingle over lunch and as an opportunity to plan ahead for other fresh events. We hope this idea will appeal to those perhaps unable to attend the Diwali /AGM meeting usually held in November for various reasons.

Our next meeting open to all members and family is scheduled for:

Time: 12.30pm to 6:00 with lunch provided.

Venue: Blue Room Banqueting and Sport Venue, 220 Headstone Ln, Harrow HA2 6LY.

 

 

Picnic in Park:

A good occasion to be gather and still enjoy the summer. We could play games and have wonder- ful outdoor.

Date: Sunday: 24th August 2025

Venue: To Be Decided, Most likely, Central London.

Any suggestions are welcome.

 

 

Navratri:

Our annual Navratri celebrations event will be held as per usual at the same venue as before with live music. We hope all of you will participate in this colourful celebration and if you wish to bring friends that’s fine – the more the merrier!

Time: 06.30pm to 08.00pm Light snacks

08.00pm to 10.30pm Garba/ Raas

Please remember that dress code for Sharad Poonam should be white (if you can manage) and to bring your own dandiyas so as not to be disappointed as we only have limited supplies on first come first serve basis.

Aarti thali will be available at the venue for a contribution of £11 per thali. Or if you wish, do bring your own highly decorative thali for aarti.

Please be punctual so we can make the most of the limited time we will have.

 

 

Diwali: Meet and Greet

This year’s Diwali meet and greet will have a different format and venue with further details to be announced very soon so keep an eye out and on our website. We would welcome suggestions from members for this meeting so please do reach out to Committee members. Whilst venue and format are still tentative, but do remember to save the date.

Date: Sunday 2nd November 2025

Time: 12.30pm to 6:00 with snacks provided.

Venue: To be Decided

Thank you to those members who have made efforts to keep their subscriptions up to date.

We will of course be collecting subscriptions at the Diwali meeting for the forth coming year of 2026 and any arrears that may be outstanding.

If you prefer to save time, we are continuing to collect subscriptions online for those who prefer this method. The process for online payment is easy: Go to the BMUK Website (www.bmuk.org) and click on tab that says “Subscriptions”, enter any details requested and pay! This system can also be used for donations and ticketed events as required.
