Diwali: Meet and Greet

This year’s Diwali meet and greet is organised at a different format and venue. We would welcome suggestions from members for this meeting so please do reach out to Committee members. Remember to save the date and take part with whole family for a fun filled social day.

Date: Sunday 16th November 2025

Time: 12.00pm to 6:00

Venue: Kenton Hall, John Billam Playing Fields, (opp. 237) Woodcock Hill, Harrow, HA3 0PQ

Please note: There is secure car park at the premises. Venue rules provide that we keep a register of everyone in attendance.

Please write each name in the register.

The day’s programme is as follows:

12.00 – 13.00 Arrive, Meet and Greet in the hall;
13.00 – 15.00 Lunch served;
15.00 – 15.30 Committee Reports, Announcements and Election for Committee members;
15.30 – 17.30 Talk by Shri Natubhai Bosamia on “Mental health and joint issues later in the life. Their causes and how to prevent” followed by Brain Exercise, Raffle Draw and other festivities;
17.30 – 18.00 Goodbyes and close.

At the Diwali meeting we will be collecting annual membership subscriptions as usual.

Please assist your community by becoming a Committee Member.

Raffle — Please contact a Committee Member, If you wish to donate a prize for the raffle draw.

We do ask for some volunteers to help out for the Meeting – it’s a great way to socialise and get to know others and do your bit for BMUK.

If you wish to volunteer and assist on the day, please do contact a committee member preferably in advance – all help is welcome!
