We hope that this message finds you, your family and all relatives safe and healthy. During a time when many are self-isolating and social distancing, it is more important than ever to remain connected and supportive. We care deeply about the wellbeing of our community, particularly those who are most vulnerable. We want to offer support to you all should you need it.
You will find that there are growing support networks around you from various local and national groups. There are also many initiatives from the government, businesses, mandirs and supermarkets.

As nurseries, schools, and further education institutions are all closed, here are some great ways to keep our brilliant young minds ticking and developing:
The World Health Organisation (WHO) have set up a service which can be accessed through a link that opens a conversation on WhatsApp. Users can simply type “hi” to activate the conversation, prompting a menu of options that can help answer your questions about COVID-19.
As a Community, now is the time to reach out – particularly to those who might be vulnerable or in need. Pay it forward and offer support, even if it’s just for a pint of milk from the local shop. Of course, you must all stay safe and follow government advice and NHS guidelines before taking steps.
In the spirit of sewa, the BMUK Committee would like to help and support where possible during this difficult time, so please feel free to reach out to us on firstname.lastname@example.org. If you don’t have internet access please call any member of the Committee.
You are not alone. We are a strong and well-connected Community. Let’s all help each other during these difficult times. We look forward to a better and healthier world, in the meantime please be vigilant and look after yourself and your loved ones.
Take care and be safe,
